Please read the Course Reserves Copyright Policy and ensure that your items fall within fair use guidelines.

Instructors in Bend and Redmond

To place an item on reserve for a course…

  1. Submit the form below.
  2. Bring any personally or departmentally owned items to the Circulation Desk at Barber Library.

Instructors in Madras and Prineville

  1. Download, complete, and print the paper Course Reserves Form.
  2. Bring your completed form and item to the Front Desk of your campus.

Instructor Information

Course Information

Enter the course catalog number (e.g., WR 121).
Select the term(s) this course will be taught.
Items will be removed from Reserves after this date. The selected date must be less than two years in the future.

Reserve Item #1

Items borrowed from other libraries through ILL or Summit cannot be placed on reserve.
Select the period of time students may check out this item.
If the item to go on reserve is a Library book, the Library will replace it.

Terms

  • Please allow up to 1 week for reserve materials to be processed.
  • Reserve items will be processed in the order received. Additional time may be required at the beginning of terms due to a higher volume of submissions.
  • The Library affixes a removable label, barcode, and security strip to copies of materials submitted.
  • The Library is not responsible for replacing damaged, stolen, or lost materials placed on reserve.
  • All items will be pulled at the end of the period specified on this form. Personally and departmentally owned materials will be returned via campus mail.
  • The Library accepts loose leaf copies when the pages are reinforced with page protectors.

In addition, all copyrighted material submitted to the Library for reserves must fall within Fair Use guidelines. Instructors are responsible for determining whether their materials meet the criteria for fair use. Please read the Course Reserves Copyright Policy.
